Bylaws of the Olympia Chinese Christian Church

ARTICLE 1 - NAME

The name of this corporation is Olympia Chinese Christian Church.

ARTICLE II – OFFICE

The principal office for the transaction of the business affairs and activities of the corporation is at the Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Rd, Olympia, WA 98502.

ARTICLE III – DOCTRINE

The Olympia Chinese Christian Church believes that the Holy Scriptures, namely the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God and Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the  head of the church.

ARTICLE IV – STATEMENTS OF FAITH

We believe in one Triune God eternally existing in three persons and yet one in essence:  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all equal in power and glory.

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, namely the Old and the New Testaments as the very Word of God verbally inspired in all parts and the teachings of Jesus Christ have the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

We believe that God created man in his own image; man sinned and thereby incurred upon the human race not only the physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God, and all men are born with the sinful nature and are therefore sinners in thought and deed.

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and all that believe in Him are justified on the ground of his shed blood.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension to heaven and his present life on high for us as our High Priest in heaven appearing before the presence of God as our advocate and intercessor.

We believe that the divine personality of the Holy Spirit converts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, enlightens, empowers, and guides the believer for progressive sanctification.

We believe that all who have received the Lord Jesus Christ, have repented, and are truly born again by the Holy Spirit are thereby the children of God.

We believe in the blessed hope of the second coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

We believe that Christ is the head of the church and the church is the body of Christ, and all born-again believers are parts of the body, love each other, preach the Gospel, and grow up together in Christ.
